Through this ministry I have learned I am not an isolated individual doing what I please, but a part of a working body with a purpose and goal in view. I found some of my desires needed to change to make the ministry work more smoothly. I Corinthians 6:20 has been a verse of importance to me, “I’ve been bought with a great price and need to serve God with my entire being.” I realize that people are not looking for perfection in me, but want someone in whom they can trust and confide. I remember one time people got so hungry for more of God we stopped the concert right in the middle to help folks at the altar to get their needs met. I like that! – Elwood |
