| I Call, He Answers… Have you ever prayed about something for a very long time but didn’t get an answer? I’ve been talking to the Lord about some things lately and it feels like no one is Home! I spoke with someone else lately that was experiencing a similar situation in their lives. They, too, have been waiting for an answer for a long time. This morning I felt impressed to again read my favorite Psalm. I’ve read Psalm 91 so many times I basically have it memorized, but as I read all the way to the next to last verse I suddenly stopped. Verse 15 says, “He will call upon me, and I will answer him.” There it was again – God’s promise that when I call, He’ll answer (I noticed it didn’t say how soon)! So, I will continue to wait, expecting to hear a response. I suppose that’s what the walk of faith is all about. Trusting a God who is always on time, always faithful to His Word, who loves me, wants the best for me, and knows (better than I do) just what I need when I need it. I called, He’ll answer – He said He would! |
